It's worth saying clearly: these troops are your neighbors. The guy or gal next door who volunteered to keep all of us safe. And in Air Force tradition, both men and women demand to be called Airmen. The title is earned, and they wear it.
Home to America's Most Elite Fighter Wing
Mountain Home AFB's mission is to provide mission-ready Gunfighters who can conduct military operations anytime, anywhere. The 366th Fighter Wing has the firepower of more than 50 F-15E Strike Eagles. Mountain Home also hosts the Republic of Singapore Air Force F-15SG aircraft, a partnership that reflects the international scope of the wing's training mission.
The wing is home to three fighter squadrons:
- The 389th Fighter Squadron, the Thunderbolts (or T-Bolts)
- The 391st Fighter Squadron, the Tigers
- The 428th Fighter Squadron, the Buccaneers (Republic of Singapore)
