America The Beautiful®'s founders grew up adventuring far and wide in the great American outdoors, through the Blue Ridge Parkway, along Pacific beaches, into Florida's deep woods. Wildlife wasn't a topic on a screen. It was a deer in the morning, a hawk overhead, a fawn stepping out of the underbrush. So when it came time to give back, supporting wildlife rehabilitation centers was always going to be on the list.
In December 2025, the ATB Crew sought out the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Christmas, Florida, and sent a $1,000 gift to back their work.
What They Do
The Wildlife Rehabilitation Center accepts injured and orphaned native species, provides them with care, rehabilitates them, and then releases them back into the wild where they belong. In any given year, they admit roughly 1,000 animals.
Their wildlife patients receive what they need to survive, examinations, radiographs, blood work, and surgeries. And then, once they're ready, they're released back to the country they came from.
Oh' Deer, Oh' Deer!
Some patients leave a particular impression. A spotted white-tail fawn, eyes wide, ears alert, recovering quietly in a Florida fern bed. The kind of animal that reminds you exactly why this work matters. The kind of animal you grew up hoping to see in the wild, and that next generations should still get to see, too.
