Made in America

Are your products made in America, America Made, USA Made, Made in the USA?

To the maximum extent possible depending on the components we try to source in America because it's great to have a future! Manufacturing = a middle class! And some of our products, such as our wall signs, are entirely American Made in our own shop! Some of our stickers and magnets are Made in the USA.

Each of us owes a debt to Americans who came before us, and a duty to those who will come after us. And believe it or not your t-shirt purchase is part of fulfilling that. Just seeing you in your America Is Beautiful^® brand t-shirt will inspire others to love our country and to take positive action. It will also put money into the pockets of American workers which will, in turn, grow the economy in many ways and provide jobs for both young and old.

Any product labeled with an unqualified ‘Made in the USA’ claim or similar must be able to substantiate that claim by showing that ‘all or virtually all’ of the product is made in the United States. And a product that is ‘all or virtually all’ made in the United States is one in which all significant parts and processing that go into the product are of U.S. origin and the product contains negligible foreign content.

The American companies we buy our shirts from represent to us that the cotton is 100% grown in the USA. Today though, almost all t-shirts are made in SE Asia. And that is not likely to change for some time. So, while the significant part of t-shirts (the cotton) is of U.S. origin, the cotton is milled and sewn (the processing) outside the U.S. Our apparel contains negligible foreign content (because it is U.S. grown cotton), but “significant processing” perforce occurs in the milling and sewing outside the U.S.

So the garment supply chain for the foreseeable future is this: the cotton is grown here in America, and shipped to overseas mills for manufacture into garments; the garments are then shipped back to the USA; we buy them from distributors and handle the decoration, graphic printing, and embellishments on them here in the USA; you buy them from us, wear them, feel good, inspire others who see you in your America The Beautiful^® brand t-shirt, America prospers and we, our children, and our children’s children have wonderful lives in the world’s most awesome country.
