Bulls are the largest antlered animals in the world and weigh 800 to 1,200 lbs. Cows weigh 600 to 800 lbs. They are usually solitary but may congregate during rut or on excellent winter range. They are at home in water and can submerge for up to four minutes. They can swim for miles, and you don’t ever want to get near or between and cow and her calf.

This Design
This design features easy camp-style color art with a curved base formed by the park area’s native pine branches and its creation date of USA 1910, then building up through the script phrase National Park framed in a retro period-styled American Flag banner, the High Adventure Wilderness statement, the park name GLACIER and America The Beautiful with the rugged high mountain peaks in the distance forming a backdrop for the upper half of the design. It is part of our series of Glacier’s principal animals. In front of the mountain peaks, on a flat bed of rock, stands a large bull moose with massive antlers, native to the park, hand-drawn in line art.
