Who Invented the V Sign?
The V Sign is the iconic World War 2 image that symbolizes the free peoples' fight against the Socialist Nazis. The Z in NAZI is the S for Socialist in German. And "socialist" and today's "progressive" are synonymous.
The V Sign was created in early 1941 by Victor de Lavaleye, a Belgian politician and Olympian as a simple symbol to show resistance to the Socialist Nazis. It represents the word 'victory' as well as 'victoire' in French and 'vryheid' (freedom) in Flemish.
People under Nazi occupation graffitied V-signs wide and far in public places as a sign of resistance to make the Socialist (progressive) occupiers insecure and afraid. Its popularity spread like fire inspiring people to fight, fight, fight to their precious freedom from the hateful, violent, destructive, oppressive socialists. Sounds familiar.

On VE Day, which was the day America finally reached the Socialist NAZI's (progressives) headquarters where Hitler was found dead and the socialists finally surrendered, the photographs show the streets everywhere jammed shoulder to shoulder with celebrating people with their hands in the air flashing the V Sign in celebration of their freedom, and having been saved from the hateful, violent, destroying rule of the violent oppressive socialists (aka progressives).
Socialists (aka progressives) and communists don't create as do smart capitalists; they can only take or counterfeit. And so in the 1960's they started misappropriating the Victory Sign as their "peace sign" in their camp, as they have tried to do with many of our American Icons, while true-blue Americans continued using it for Victory.

The Design
This design sports a hand gesturing with the Victory Sign in which the first two fingers are held up straight and wide to form a V for Victory. The two fingers are filled with the blue field and white stars of the American flag, and the body of the hand is filled with the red and white stripes of the American flag, perfectly symbolizing the Core of America: Victorious Freedom.
